Default MarlinOwners?

What has happened to the newly formed site for the Marlin folks? Went away for the w/e and come home to a page not available error message. Cant find in the search engines either.

They scrapped it. Some of the members are showing up here and there. One place is shootersforum.com

Given the nature of some of the Marlin site "refugees" we saw wash up on the shores of www.accuratereloading.com, then "wow". This bunch had no couth, no manners, no nothing, if I was Marlin I would have pulled the plug on it also, had to have been a corporate embarassment if the characters we ran into were representative of the group as a whole.

I could just see some prez or high up (probably may not know much about guns, but...) take a look at it and say "We are NOT going to sponsor this kind of crap!!

Just my $.02.

Good Luck and Good Hunting,
EKM

The board was taken down mostly because there was to many gunsmithing tips going around that didn't have Marlins ok. They thought they may run into some liability problems. There were some good guys there and some know it all slobs as well. www.graybeardoutdoors.com has set up a site for NEF and Marlin Users, Many of the old guys are over there.
