Default Remington 1100

Has any one got a Remington 1100. i have been offered a brand new one at a reduced price, (20 bore). Are they any good?

Yes, I love mine. It was made in the early 60's, so it's older...but it's a tank.

The Remington 1100 is a fine semi auto.They're very reliable.If it's in good shape ,it would be a nice gun to get.I prefer a 12ga but there's nothing wrong with a good 20ga.I've had a 1100 in 12ga since 1973. Paid a whopping 159.00 for it with a plain barrel.You can buy several different barrels for the 1100's. Mine now has a vent rib.
