Default sighting it all in

i removed my sights to give the barrel a re-blue job. I put the sights back on....i never sighted in a gun where both sights where off. Any tips?

I would just put them back on about centered then go from there. If it a bolt, take the botl out and sight down through the barrel at an object about 25 yards away and then set your sights on the same object. Or just shoot it at 25 yards to start with and get them dead on. You will find that that will put you pretty clase at 100 yards. Also a good gun shop could bore sight it for you.

James B has some good advice. You'll know you screwed up if you sight it in at 50 and it's off L or R at 100.
