Is this a good caliber for deer and hogs? I found one at a decent price but know nothing about this caliber.

I never hunted hogs before,but I think it might be too big.Ok for deer.

It should work well for either.

I've got a Remington XP-100 in 7mm BR. I've yet to actually hunt anything with it.

At what ranges are you shooting and what kind of accuracy are you getting.

Did you buy it for target shooting?

ARMallardSlayer, I actually ended up with the gun from an estate sale in which I had to buy 40 or so guns just to get 2 or 3 collectable guns I wanted. I haven't fired it yet. I may put it up for sale. It's a super nice rifle/pistol, but just not what I'm into.
