Iam looking to buy a new 30-06 con anyone give info on what to look for ...and where is the best place to buy.

what to look for: depends on what you want; bolt action, semi-auto, pump; single shot, etc

where to buy depends on where you live

If you want a bolt action, i suggest the winchester model 70. i just got one at walmart for a very reasonable price, (under $400) with a scope. I looked at the REM 710, and hated it.. IMO. looked cheap to me. I also looked at the REM pump action 3006. nice gun too.
