what is the difference between a browning abolt and a abolt2

Not much difference. The ABoltII has a nonrotating bolt sleeve, and is availible with the BOSS.

That's the only differences that I know of.

He pretty much covered it. That and the synthetic stocks on the new ones have a palm swell on the pistol grip.

I had the original A-Bolt in a Stainless Stalker .270. It was an awesome rifle and I kick myself every time I think about it after selling it. I saw no need to "upgrade" it the way they did. Mine was silky smooth without the bolt sleeve.
