Default next best scope under leupold

wondering what are the next best thing to a leupold. ( under a leupold )
( bushnell rain guard ) ( nikon ) ( ziess conquest )

looking into getting a new scope but since i am engaged it might be a bit harder now to spend the $$ on these ever so growing leupold prices.

WHAT FIREARM ARE YOU MOUNTING IT ON?

I HAVE LEUPOLDS, NIKONS, BUSHNELLS. THE NIKON BUCKMASTER THAT I HAVE IS MOUNTED ON MY .50 MUZZLELOADER, FOR JUST UNDER $200 ITS THE BEST SCOPE I BROUGHT, CLEAR, CRISP!!!

My opinion there are a lot of scopes better than a Leupold, like the Nikon Monarch, Bushnell Elite 4200 and the Weaver Grand Slam. Think that will be interesting is to see how the new VX-III's line will compare.

There are certainly many scopes as good as Luepold. However the Rifleman and VX l are as cheap as any of them. The Nikon PRO STAFF and Swift premier are very good scopes at about 130-150 bucks. The 3200 Bushnell is in the same class and price range. I am not handycapped useing the Banner and trophy model Bushnells as well.

Bushnell Elite series. Pretty darn good for the money! You can find them for around $160 if you look hard enough.
