Default 1 or 2 piece scope base?

Is one any more rigid/accurate than the other?

Default RE: 1 or 2 piece scope base?

I don't know why but i've always liked the two piece bases myself just seems like they would be more stable but in all honesty i really don't think they are. I have two piece bases on several rifles and one piece bases on several. I do know that in some cases the two piece won't work with certain scopes. I bought a Sendero last year and tried to use the two piece bases with a Leupold scope and the rings were to far apart and the scope wouldn't set all the way down in the rings so i had to get a one piece base. I personally don't think one would be any more accurate than the other.
