Benelli Nova for son

Hey guys, new here. Want to get my teenage son a shotgun for Christmas. I have owned Rem 870 for many yrs and been pleased. Don't want to spend that much, so was thinking of the Nova or the 870 Express. After owning the 870, not sure I like the wood/finish on the Express model. However, have been impressed with what I have been reading about the Nova. Will take some getting used to, not having a wood look. What do u guys like better, the black or camo models. Also, how do the Express and Nova compare to each other. Any help would be apreciated. Thanks

my brother has the 20 ga nova. its a real nice gun. light and points well

I got a Nova back in March and love it. Great shooting gun. The gun comes apart easier then any pump I've ever messed with. I think it would be great choice.

I'd go with the 870 Exp. in black. Can be had around here in 3" mag for around $220.00.
