Default Tikka vs Browning

Ok, I am going to buy a new toy and have narrowed my choices down to a Tikka T3 Lite or a Browning A-Bolt Stainless. What is everyone's opinions of these two rifles?

Flip a coin. All I have heard is how great the T3 is and know a couple guys personally who would agree. I have experience/own the Browning Abolt SS Stalker and can tell you I have never had a frown.

Either way you should be happy with your new toy...good luck

As a happy, browning owner, and an admirer of a Tikka, I would go for the tikka. Why? Cause I don't got one yet. And already have a browning I love.

I got a Tikkia T-3 Light in .300 WSM as a early XMAS present and I love it I have many rifles and it is the best out of the box rifle I have ever owned. great trigger comes with rings and built in mount. And is printing ragged clover leafs already.

When the ecomonics come into play, the Tikka is the only way to go. I just want to make sure that it is going to be a great gun for the long haul.

I will be getting a .300 WSM in either rifle.

Old elk, where can you get Tikkas for that price. I got my browning 308 for 500 dollars. Its an a-bolt medallion. Can you get Tikkas for less than that?

Up here the difference in prices I have seen between the T3 and Browning SS are very marginal at best, yes the tikka is a little less but not note worthy.

Anybody buy the fact Browning pioneered the WSM offering and as such would be the better choice. I just heard a rather heated debate about this and thought I'd see if the real experts had any input Personally I have no opinion or thoughts on it, but found it an interesting pov.
