Remington 870 Synthetic Stock Too Long

I have a Remington 870 Deer slug gun and the length of pull is too long. Is it possible to shorten a synthetic stock?

Yes, I' ve done it twice. The problem that can arise is if your stock is solid or hollow. If it' s solid, just cut it down and refit the recoil/butt plate. If it' s hollow, it' s basically the same thing but much more difficult to re-attach the butt plate.
