RE: Ammo storage question
I used to keep mine in a Firesafe, just incase you know, now that only holds my handguns and my powder has expanded to a daimond plate steel powder magazine that my cousin built me, it' s all nylon coated to prevent sparks and double locking, I put some aluminum nylon coated shelves in it to help with organization...Best thing about a custom affair like this is that you can have only what you want, AND exactly what you want, and you can typically make it or have it made for WAY less $$$. My cousin' s a pro-welder, take a case of Bud over and help with it and we knocked each of them out in a day, only money spent was the beer and the raw materials costs.
I' ve got a pair of them, one for loaded ammo, one for powders and primers-the primers are in a separate compartment in the lid, unlock one lock to get to the primers, lock it and unlock two others and when you lift the lid, the primer compartment comes with it.
