Any opinions on this gun ? Found a great price and was going to buy one today.

I have one in .50 caliber, and I like it. I bought it from Cabela' s last year with the scope and starter kit. After about an hour of sighting-in, I was able to shoot 2" groups at 100 yards. I use two 50-grain Pyrodex pellets to push a 245-grain Power-Belt bullet.

so the eclipse has scope mounts ?

Yup. When I bought mine, it came with see-through rings, so that you can use either the open sights or the scope.
