RE: Interlock vs power point
140 is not to heavy and if it shoots well than it should be a perfect fit for your purpose. As far as coming apart the interlock is a good deer bullet and has ring(where it gets the name interlock) that is to prevent seperation of the jacket from the core, of course that is the theory but I will tell you it works very well on deer and you have nothing to worry about. I used the interlock this fall for an elk and WT doe, both animals toppled very quickly and on the deer the bullet blew clean through the ribs. The Elk I found a perfect mushroomed bullet tucked on the opposite hide, while I didn' t achieve a clean pass through the result was very positive(BTW Elk are much tougher skinned so the lack of a pass through was in no way a fault of the bullet, but rather the shot angle and body size it had to travel through)
Coinfidence comes in accuracy and field results. By the sounds of it either bullet is shooting well for you on the range and you should have the confidence given the opportunity you can put it where it needs to be. The field results will only come with time but the important factor is taken care of you know they shoot well and will hit your point of aim...so load what you want and don' t think about anything but making the shot and creating that shot opportunity.
