LOL, I've forgotten my release a couple times. Left it hanging on my bow rack. Luckily I always keep a spare in my bow case. NEVER comes out so it's always there for that just in case of brain fart" moment.

My OCD rarely lets me forget anything. And leaving a box of ammo sitting on the bench would probably be a hell of a lot easier to do than most think I would imagine. How many cars have you seen going down the road with a brief case sitting on the roof? People are forgetful sometimes I too drive to all my hunts. It's why I spent an ungodly amount of money for my Winnie Damn thing cost more than my first house! Uhg, bad example, I'm old, my car cost more than my first house Come to think of it, my Harley cost damn near as much as my first house....DAMN that's depressing!

6.5 hour drive to my deer camp, 3 hours to my brothers to hunt birds and squirrels.
Have never forgotten a thing I needed at deer camp or at my brothers.
I sat down and made a list of every thing I would need and got it laminated. Stuff gets checked off only when it is in the truck or the jeep.
Use the same check list to pack up to go home too.
