the 308 was possibly the best cartridge ever designed and the creed put it to bed, The creed is without a doubt the best cartridge ever designed, who doesnt want a factory gun and factory ammo that gets you out to a 1000 yds, why would it be a need to handload cartridge, that makes no sense.

Hmmm!!! Sarcasim? I'm not sure. The 6.5 creed is a capable round and the .308 is a capable round, but to say either is the BEST cartridge ever made. I laugh when I hear any cartridge is the best ever made.

The 6.5 creed is the greatest cartridge ever developed? But wait... Didn't you already point out the 6ppc is the one holding "all of the records"?

And did anyone else notice there were more top 100 shooters running a 6x47 or 6 creed this season in the final than 6.5 creed or 6.5x47? So it's already getting beaten at its own game by a 6mm version!

I just find it simply hilarious when people compare cartridges that are fantastic for PAPER or GONGS to cartridges for ANIMALS. While yes the Creed is an outstanding round for 1000 yards on PAPER, I personally wouldn't trust it's TERMINAL performance at that range. Especially not against a .308 cartridge or really ANY .30cal cartridge! That's simply ridiculous!!

you are absolutely correct, i personnaly dont think most people should be taking shots at animals probably past 300 yds and those with more expierience past 500 yds, but if we want to compare the two, the creed comes out on top in every aspect of the .308 at a 1000 yds, and the 308 set the standard for 1000 yd match

the creed is a factory chambered and factory loaded cartridge, it is withouth a doubt the best factory fodder
