Bucket list
Well my bucket list is now pretty much done. The only other gun I would really like is a fine English double rifle. But those are quite a bit out of my price range.
Here are the two that complete it. A Rem 600 in 6mm and a Win. 88 in .308 (I would have preferred a 284 or 358 but those prices are primo)
And as long as I was at it I picked up a S&W M&P Shield 9mm. I took a pic of it along side my M&P40 for size comparison. I wanted a nice concealable handgun with more power than my little Taurus TCP.

If I were to get one it would be a 375 H&H. Now at my age - is there any need for it? Definitely heck no. Really ain't no reason for one except to say I have it. I don't plan on going to the dark continent and likely not even Alaska. But I bet it would be a dynamite brownie and moose medicine! Heck I might even settle for a .405 Win. or 404 Jeffery.

Honestly, with the right load and bullet, it makes a hell of a good whitetail cartridge as well. Definitely makes them do the dirty nose shuffle VERY easily. And with the right bullets they don't destroy a lot of meat either.

I will never say my bucket list on guns will ever be complete, as far too many times I didn't know I had "X" on that list till I seen it , and it gets added to the list LOL
Plus, I cannot tell you HOW many times, dumb luck has lead me to a chance at something else I wanted to add to the collection.
I will say I am pretty much done on feeling like I NEED any more guns, but there will always be a few out there I would like to have and enjoy
just too many great one's out there , and too little budget to get them all ?

I don't have one yet!
I want a stainless/synthetic for alaska one day...
taking an elk with a 375 with 270grs is a valid option IMO if you want to use it on a hunt that's not in alaska/africa.
also one could use it on anything they want, deer etc... they say less meat damage than a high speed lightweight bullet, ie 243, 270 etc...

You want to dump that 99 DUMP THIS WAY HOOK! I have enough #1's but only one 99 in .300 savage. I'd love either a .243 or a .308 99. My affinity for lever guns is just about equivalent to oxygen

Yeah, Kate Beckinsale does make pleather look good don't she And it wouldn't be for collecting anyway. It would be for use! I only have a couple wall hangers and safe queens and only because they really aren't safe to shoot.
