hey may sound funny but that is the way my idiot cousin shoots. But he is a total A-hole anyway so I don't even try to tell him.

I call it the idiot cut and yes I have fallen victim to that one too.
Believe it or not, I did this to myself with a 22-250 a couple of weeks ago.

I was rushing to get it zeroed before dark and had to get really close to the scope to see the cross hairs. A little slip and I was bleeding.

I didn't tell any of my buddies about this, of course. It's hard to defend your manhood when most 12 year old girls can handle the same recoil just fine. LOL
