Yes, though normally it's just with a .22 revolver in case I'm attacked by an aluminum can.

I do have a 357. Mag I carry for serious protection, though it rarely goes fishing.

Anyone Packing while they're Fishing?
Living in Phoenix, Arizona I do not do much fishing. But I enjoy landscape photography and the desert offers many opportunities for great picture taking. Whenever I am alone in the desert taking pictures (or any other time for that matter) I am always carrying. Usually a Ruger .357 or a 1911. For concealed I have a S&W .38...me and 9mm/.380 sub-compacts do not get along very well.
