Total Ammo: How much?
Well I reorganized my shooting cupboard. For a long time I had allot of ammo piled up. Not sure how many rounds I peaked out at. I've shot a ton of 9mm, .45, and shotguns over the last two years however. I've been buying still, but not at the rate I once was. (I have a family now and all the expense that involves...) I was a little surprised at how LITTLE ammo I have now. Down to about 1500 in 9mm, 800 in .45, still a good amount of .22 and my shotgun pile is still pretty good... anyway I got curious and decided to estimate how many total rounds I have loaded up for everything. I think I have about 5,000-6,000 rounds total. Again, this is way less than I had last year, and way way less than two years ago. So i guess I need to start buying more bulk again. Anyone know or have an estimate on how many total rounds they have ready to go? Anybody have any ridiculous amounts of ammo stored? I read on another forum a guy claimed to have over 240,000 rounds.
