Default Which bullet?

Just got a new 7 rem mag and was wondering what would be a good bullet to use out of it. I am pretty much set on Federal Premium in either the Trophy Bonded Bear claws, Partition, Ballistic Tips, or the Barnes XLC(if can find), but open to other suggestions. I cannot decide which to get. I do not reload and need to use factory. These would be used on Michigan whitetail. The rifle is a Savage 111 w/24" barrell.
Thanks.

sd I sure am awfully partial to 140 Failsafe Win Supreme in my 7mag. And that comes after over a decade of handloading my 7. For me they group well and kill like absolute lightning. Essentially the bullet is a copy of the Barnes X bullet. The Fed Prem 150 Nosler Part is likewise a superkiller for deer as well.

Check em out, I think you will be pleased!

For whitetail any of those listed will work fine.Try some of them in the 140gr range in your rifle and use whichever shoots best in your rifle.

Try as many of them as you can afford to, and see which one works best.

All will work fine & agree find the one that shoots best. Personally for deer and my 7 rem mag I like Ballistic Tips in 140-150 gr versions, they have always shot the best and performed well on game in my experience through a variety of calibers.

Good Luck

I have always used Fed. Premiums 165 gr. BTSP and had great results. I' m gonna try reloading though, I put on a new scope and am told the results will be much beter with reloads. I' m trying 162 gr. Hornady SST' s. JDinAB
