Default Henry 22

I ordered 1 this past week, should get this week. Seems like a well built, fun little rifle for the money. Anyone have any experience? If so, what's the good and bad?

Since no one replied, I'll give a brief review. I topped it with a 2-7 Vortex. If I was keeping iron sights, I'd probably replace the rear with a skinner peep and the front with a high viz. The original rear is ok but difficult to see. Fit and finish are better than anticipated. Action is smooth as can be. Feeds all ammo I've tried flawlessly. Accuracy is what I expected, 1" at 35 yards with various plinker ammos. Overall, she's a blast to shoot. For the money, it's worth every dime. Would recommend to anyone that's looking for a good little 22 that won't break the bank.

Saw one at Wal Mart a couple weeks ago. Very good looking rifle, But as usual no 22 AMMO to be had.

That's enough to make a man consider or go .17 .

Actually pretty darn good. I don't have a scale but would guess it at 3-4 lbs., no creep.

From what I understand the Henry is a well made rifle. I always wanted to get one but there is just something about the stock design that doesn't quite fit me. And I shoot several levers by Marlin and Winchester. To me the Henry's grip is just too low for me. Just feels awkward. At least on their 22lrs

Stock on the Golden Boy is too low for me as well. I purchased their entry H001 and find the stock quite comfortable.
