Default Ruger Hawkeye Left Hand web page no long available

I suppose they stopped making their premium line of lefties too.

I sure wish I could own a $700-1500 rifle as nice as all of my right-hand buddies do, but I'm a lefty and limited to only the <$600 economical lines from most major mfg's., or else spend $1600+ for a luxury brand lefty. Browning and Tikka are the only two options I have. I use to like Ruger, if they did stop making the M77 Hawkeye in left. Sure would like own a Weatherby or high-end Savage, have as many caliber options as the right handers do.

I refuse to be limited to the used market just because I'm a lefty. Talk about discrimination!

that's why I just buy actions and have what I want built, not cheap but I get what I want.

And what's wrong with a Browning or Tikka? Custom is nice but you have a lot of chambering offerings these two with high quality.

I didn't imply, at all, anything wrong with Browning or Tikka.

No there isn't - and I confirmed with Ruger that the M77 Hawkeye was, at least for the time being, discontinued.

Spurred me to strike while they're available and get myself a pair of "donor rifles" to use for an upcoming build project. So I have Ruger M77 Hawkeye All-Weathers coming in that should be here by Wednesday. Too bad I won't be able to get the barrels for a few months to get them started!
