Yes you can adjust the old tiger m77 trivets need to change to a lighter spring and some honing on some parts. A gunsmith adjusted my father 1980s m77 done to 2 1/2 lbs.

You nee to remove the action from the stock to get a real good look at the trigger on your model 77.
You need a trigger pull gauge and a whole lot of common sense when messing with any trigger. I just took my swift to a smith and paid him to get where I like it.
