RE: Sighting In 7mm-08
Handloader 1 thanks for the info! Hopefully Creeks_Ridges can put it to good use this year if the opportunity presents itself. CR...this information is dependent on the info in the original post. If the velocity differs, from your particular rifle, the table will change slightly. I' m sure Handloader 1 provided info for the particular bullet, its BC, velocity, etc. If any of those variables change...so does the info. Assuming you are reloading, most manufacturers have specific ballistic tables for each of their bullets...at differing velocities. (Or there are " Ballistic Computer Programs" designed to run on PCs that are both inexpensive and easy to use.) And don' t forget other external variables can play into factor at given times. (ie. altitude above sea level...barometric pressure...significant temperature differences, etc.) Most of these are not very consequential for most of the hunting in the United States. Can make some differences when say hunting at sea level compared to hunting the higher elevations of the Rockies, or temperatures in Africa, etc.
Which is a good case for rechecking your zero if you " travel" to hunt. Good luck with your zero!

Yes, thanks Handloader1 for the info. Yes I am reloading, using Hornady 139gr Interbond SST' s with 49.9 grains of H414. I will be going to the range again I hope by next weekend and will do some test on the ranges again to see what I come up with as far as a zero.
Thanks to everyone who has posted, and I will let you guys know the outcome..
Good bunch of fellows....
Thanks!
