Default Finally got the NULA set up! (pics)

So I ordered a M24 left hand NULA .30-06 from Melvin. He was nice enought to mount my Leupold VX-3 3.5-10x40 for me, get it sighted in, and shoot a couple 3 shot groups to see what the rifle was really capable of.
So.....here it is......

Well, his groups certainly look good! Let's see some of yours now! Great looking rifle though, and it obviously shoots well!

Very nice rig. Looks for sure to be a keeper. I read a story from a former gun writer about Melvin on another site that told a story about Melvin getting together with some friend to go hunting. Everyone got their rifles out and shot a few rounds to make sure their scopes were set up properly. The writer says Melvin was the last one to break out his rifle (a brand new NULA of course) and he set it on the bench, opened a brand new sealed Leupold scope box and pulled out the scope and mounted it on the rifle, , looked through it, then without firing a shot he said, "let's go!" The writer then asked him if he was going to shoot his rifle to sight in his scope and Melvin answered that there was no need, because Leupold ships their scopes perfectly zeroed from the factory, and his rifle was machined to such exactly tolerances, the chamber, bolt and barrel were perfectly aligned. The writer was obviously near incredulity, and asked Melvin if he would demonstrate with a test fire. Melvin graciously agreed and racked a round into the NULA and fired one shot, at 100 yards . . . a perfect bulls eye of course.
