Default Rossi Guns

Anyone own a Rossi gun? Thinking about buying one for my son for his first deer rifle.

I have a Rossi single-shot rifle in .223 rem I bought last spring to shoot coy-dogs and gophers.I wanted a gun that was cheap and shot well.It shoots 3/4in groups with winchester 40 gr. hollow points and 55 gr core-loks.These guns are what you pat for.Bare bones,no-ejector for spent cartriges, dull finsh and bad triggers. But hey I only paid 200.00 for it w/scope,rings and bases.

You would probably be better served by an H&R/NEF. They cost a little more but they are put together better. I looked at a few Rossi rifles the other day and I was not impressed.
