Default Best Scope in the $100-$200 range?

I saw in field and stream this month they reviewed some scopes. Burris, Bushnell in the $200 range (list). Some others higher, up to about $450. Realizing discount is cheaper than list, is there any scope in the $100-$200 range you guys recommend? Closer to $100 wholesale would be good, I think I can get this pretty close to wholesale.. It will be for a 25-06, maybe 30-06. For hunting whitetails about 50-120 yard shots.. Thanks!

I have had good luck with the Simmons Aetec. I know alot of people hate simmons , but i and several friends have had em on our rifles for years with no problems at all. They sell for 150.00

I have had many Bushnel Banner and Trophy scopes and sold many more as a dealer. Never one problem period. The Swift is a great scope for around 100.00. I have a Leupold VX1 but that was 200.00. I have not used it much as yet But I hope it will be better than the last three Leupolds I have had. They were not very clear for the extorsion price they get.

I picked up a Sightron SI recently for $109 new (ebay). For the $ its a very nice scope in my opinion. It is clear, has great eye relief, and a great warranty. You can check them out at:

Have you thought of a fixed power scope? Good luck.

Try Leupold VX-I or Leupold Hunter - both should fit in your price range.
