Default Remington 700 SPS Stainless

I'm looking for a Remington 700 in a .270. I shoot left handed but like a right handed bolt. My issue is the Monte Carlo stock. Does Remington make this or any other 700 in any other stock?

An option you could consider, is sell the original, and go aftermarket.

Aye,
I imagine he just means he doesn't care for the feel of the cheekpiece.

That's about the size of it. Went to Bass Pro & other place in Memphis and every 700 had Monte Carlo stock.

Tully,

Just so you know; the SPS has a "classic" stock.

See below for what a Monte Carlo stock looks like;

Take a look here at all the model 700's

Could it be what Tully does not like is possibly the "raised cheekpiece" on the SPS stocks? Seems like I remember them having this.

Here is the classic style and the mone carlo comb style. The first is the classic style. If you would like a monte carlo style for your 700, Bell & Carlson makes a "Weathergy Style" for the 700 action. I have one on my SPS Stainless and I can post a picture later if you want.

I called the rep from Remington and he didn't even know. Waiting for him to call me back. That X-Bolt is looking better all the time.
