Default What barrel for my 870 for dove/quail?

I have a 870 with 18" home defense-y type barrel and want to find a barrel to use for quail / dove season in the Fall - maybe even turkey? I was thinking that a 26" length seems to be common, but I'm really new to these things and don't really know much about the sights / lengths / chokes, but would appreciate any general recommendations of where to start - thanks! Last I looked the barrels were as much as a new 870, but hopefully something more reasonable out there might be available!

I recomend either a 26 or 28 in. barrel for dove/quail. I like tge 26 better and thats all i use for everything now days. New barrels are very expensive id look into getting a used one. You can find em on gunbroker and at gunshows sometimes in the 100-125 price range. Stick a modified choke in it for dove/quail and getta extra full for turkey and your good to go.
