I read on another forum that tc uses a computer program that shoots a laser through the barrel to test group size, so that is a worthy debate on if you believe it. I have seen a group printed by their warlord rifle, while it is pricey it does shoot every bit as good or better than they say.

I have an Icon Weathershield in 308 Winchester that came with the "test target" and showed a 3 shot group of .32"! I have yet to achieve that but my groups have been 2 to 3 times that size(still under an inch). I have not used the ammo that they tested the rifle with and my shooting rest could be better.
For that price on the Venture, I do not see how you could go wrong.

I have no# 87 of the original short actions ,first built ,with the ultra wood stock, took a while to find the right load ,but it shoots 1 holers with, stock box rems 150s Its one of fav rifles ,one point of interest, is it hates horndys, cant fig that out i guess its just a pickey eater
