H&R ultra slug gun. help

Just got this gun the other day shot it for the first time today. What do you guys shoot out of yours for shells. they are expensive want to go down the right road the first time. How do you sight in a slug gun as well? any help will be greatly appreciated.

I have the 20ga. I use Hornady SSTs 2-3/4", I sight in to be 2.5" high at 50 yards

I have on in 12 gauge. The general consensus is that they all like different ammo and you just have to find the one that works best in your gun.

Mine settled on Federal Premiums at about $15 per box. I tried Hornady, Lightfield, Remington and Winchesters. About $70 worth of ammo to get settled on a round.

I shoot mine with a 2-7x scope and have it zeroed at 100 yards.
