Default 17hmr for squirrels..

I just got a 17hmr for tree squirrel hunting. Im assuming my shots will be between 25-50 yards on average. Generally closer to 25 than 50. Should I zero the scope at 25 yards or 50? I heard the bullet is still rising at 50 so I would have to remember to aim under the squirrel... that would surely take practice!

nah its not bad, sight in at 50 yards, hold top of the head at 25, oh BTW use the 20 gr hp's, the 17 gr v-max's are very destructive.

Nah, take chest shots and they'll save you the trouble of gutting them.
