Yesterday I went to my local gun store to buy a Cooper 6.5 x 284 custom rifle. Well I get there only to find the gun had been sold. To make matters worse. The guy who bought it was still filling out the paper work on it. He told me if I would have been there 5-minutes sooner? I could have beat him too it.
I guess if you snooze you loose. I am looking for a new Cooper 6.5 x 284 on the net. If I order one from Cooper it will be 7 to 12-months before I get it.
Same thing happened to me about 3 months back I thought about and thought about buying a Model 70 featherweight in 257 roberts and finally decided and then drove down to the local gunshop. The owner of the shop told me I was a day late on that one....
