Default trade in question

im thinking about trading in my ruger 96 .22 but i lost the paper work that i got when purchasing the gun, do i need that for trade in purposes?

also what would be an expected price for this gun? amost in mint condition just the usual wear and tear of a 5 year old gun

No, you shouldn't need paperwork unless you live in a state you had to register the gun, and then I'm not sure.

That being said don't expect to get anywhere near the value if you trade it in. They often offer around half of the value at least around here. I wish people would sell me guns at trade in prices. You'd probably be better off putting it for sale in local classifieds.

in oklahoma all you have to do is sign a paper sayin that you are the actual owner of the firearm and how long you have owned the firearm, agree you will probably get more from your gun tryin to sell it instead of tradin in
