Talking Just won the NWTF gun of the year!

Just won the NWTF pistol of the year on Saturday night. It is a Kimber 1911 45 auto. I did a little research and it is also the 100th anniversary edition. Very nice gun, have yet to pick it up.

I was looking for some recommendations. Would this be a gun to shoot, keep in the box, or sell in your opinion?

I do have a .357 for home protection, along with a few of shotguns.

Any ideas on the value?

I don't own guns to put away, I shoot them...

I recently bought a Ruger Blackhawk 50th Anniversary in .44 mag...The gun had never been shot...It has now...

Everybody needs a good 1911, shoot the dang thing...

Generally, these commemortive guns won't fetch as much as say the regular gun would cost, especially over time. A turkey gun maybe.

I would keep it and shoot the crap out of it.
