Default carrying multi copys of your permit

A week after they mailed my permit I went to florida for 2 months, preparing to return till may in fact , my mom said I got my permit, but when she came down she did not have it and said she thought a letter I got was it and it was not. So I called the indiana handgun license office, they told me to call back feb 3rd if it had not come yet, I called my brother and he said it had not come yet, so I called and they resent it, well when I got home I found it stuck in between the mailbox and the wall of our house, opps mail man stuck it there I guess. A day later I get the second one and stick it in my wallet with my first one. Now I have two copies, my thoughts are in in the safe should I loose my wallet again, or one in my holster mag pouch should I forget my wallet. Any thoughts, is it legal to carry two copies at one. Also can one make a copy of it on pink paper?
