Default Remington 700 .270 w/ Burris 3x9x50mm Talley Height Question?

Anyone have this same set-up that works? I like the Talley 1 pc rings/mounts but not sure if the mediums will be high enough for the 50mm? I'm sure the highs would be fine but don't want the scope mounted higher than it needs to be. I would like to have enough room for flip-up scope covers as well.
Any help would be appreciated....Thanks!

Mediums work for a 40mm, bet you will need high rings for the 50mm.

Talley's tend to run a bit high, but I'm not sure a medium would work on a 50mmm (it would be close though). I believe I'd try a medium and if it's good...if not swap it out for a high. Of course, you could call Talley Mfg. with your specs and they will tell you for sure.
