Default Factory Match Ammo?

What's this mean really?

Factory loaded ammo with target style bullets?

Could these loads be used for anything effectively?

say .308win??

are these like varmint bullets, rapid expansion?

Is this ammo loaded better than hunting ammo? tighter tolerances? costs more? or just match style bullets, higher BC's??

Think usually is just the bullet type. Non-expanding, usually. Flat or boat tail design. Usually for punching paper. I know sometimes the ammo is cheaper than regular ammo, sometimes more depending on manufacture.

Here is an article on another site I visit. Probably give you alot more details.

My understanding of "match ammo" is that everything is checked closer for consistancy which will give you tighter groups. Regular factory ammo is not as consistant.
