Default Rem 870...

Ok guys so forgive my ignorance, but could someone explain the differences between 870 Express, Special Purpose, Wingmaster etc...? I here these names thrown out, but what is the significant difference between them if any? Can I interchange parts and barrels between them? Thanks so much...
take care,
Gerard

An Express is just an 870 with much lower quality fit and finish to keep the price low. You can not use SP barrels on a regular 870 or Express.

the wingmaster is a much higher quality gun. the express will do the job. i traded an express off last year for a wingmaster and am very happy with it as it is smoother and better looking. you will have to decide for yourself if it is worth the 3-400 extra you pay for the wingmaster. you can buy a good semi auto for the price of a wingmaster but then you have to deal with the usual issues of functioning that you will have with the semi.
