Default Now taking suggestions for AR style .223

What do you all recommend? I would like to keep the cost to a minimum, but want a good quality gun. I am new to AR guns, with little to no knowledge concerning reputations of them (have only looked at Remington R-15, DPMS and some Smith & Wesson models) and would appreciate any input. Looking to get one with birthday money in April plus whatever else it will take through saving up to get one. Thanks in advance for your help!

Well DPMs and bushmaster both are good ones the S&W mp15 is ok but dpms is much better my favorite Is Doublestar they make a great ar in the 800-900 dollar range there real accurate and dependable and there manufactured in Winchester KY.

here's the skinny on AR's
they are all about the same unless you get into the custom jobs.
about all of them are parts house guns, last I heard oly was the only AR's built 100% in house, everybody else buys all or some of they're parts from the same pool of venors and just assemble in house, rem R-15's are just bushy's with the rem. name, check your warranty, some have a lifetime warranty some don't, but the price reflects it
Doublestar is a good bunch to deal with, model1 sales is a bit cheaper, ya want a custom AR at almost production prices contact mike milli at dedicated technologies.
hope this helps. My advice get an 8 twist, does very well with bullet weights from 50-80 gr and the terminal performance is better.
