after not seeing my gun since january. i finally recieved it back from 1shot_1kill. my F.N. mauser got re-blued jeweled bolt and installed a front sight w/a hood and a lyman peep sight and also got it glass bedded.
she looks and shots like a dream. with the timney trigger set at 3lbs. i am so giddy as a school girl i had to let you all know .

Default RE: got her back

i was thinking of doing hte smae with my mauser.....having a good front site put on and a peep.....all my deer shots are right up close....50yds is hte max....a 3x9 adds alot of weight and is just bulky....nice to have if i see a deer standing on the trail 200yds away...but peeps would be nice.....maybe ill just buy a new deer rifle one day and put peeps on it......and im thinking about a timney trigger for my mauser still...it has the original trigger in it from the war still......that think is like pulling back a ton of bricks...i think i iwll have that done soon.....congrats on the gun....
