I would agree with Bowhunter only from what I've read and heard about the good OLD model 70. But being a southpaw, I have no experience with it (Unfortunately). However, in left hand bolts, I like the Savage for its out of the box accuracy but overall I like the Browning A bolt. Especially in the MicroHunter. Its light, fast, comes in potent chamberings and has that 60 degree bolt throw and a bolt handle that works for me.

Any of the rifles mentioned in the poll will do the job well, but my favorite is the K98.

I vote for the Savage 110. They might not be the prettiest rifles out there, but, good Lord are they accurate!!!

Could'nt have said it better myself, without the "garbage" part. But since I'm not old enough to have bought a pre-64 new, and cannot afford to buy one now, a "Classic Featherweight" will do me just fine!
