Call FL to make sure, but it may be the case where FL does not recognize an out of state IN permit. FL issues resident and non-resident permits, but some states only recognize the FL resident permits.

Indiana issues CCW's to non residents as well as residents of the state.

Florida will only honor those permits that are issued to Indiana residents.

I see, I am a resident so no issue, I guess that is why they have signs up at the fish and wildlife area saying IL ccw permits are not accepted for IL residents to hunt here.
