Default Shooting Sticks

Not to long ago there was a topic on how to build your own shooting sticks. I have looked but cannot find it. Can anyone help me find it? Thanks

I never saw the post your refering to but a few years back we made our own shooting sticks for an anetlope hunt. All we used was 2-full length bare alum. arrow shafts. Put a thick ruberband to hold them together. We would stick the nock portion(which is a spear) into the ground apart and then slide the rubberband over the joint(or the V) to hold them together. They won' t give you a lot of hieght(ie to stand), but we wanted them to sit or kneel. It worked fine for us and light, which was one of our main concerns.

Not sure if this is what you maybe looking for, just an idea! Try a search...Good Luck!

I just clamped two dowel sticks together for my uprights. I used 3/4 inch dowels Not real pretty but cheaper that dirt and sturdy. I just used two hose clamps on each one.
