Default 223 wssm

What do you guys think about the 223 WSSM (winchester super short magnum)? What do you think are some pros and cons for this caliber? Also what is you general perspective on the performance of this round? Do you think it is just a varmit gun or can it also be used to take deer/hogs?

I like the concept of the WSSM, but they just never seemed to catch on in the smaller calibers.. With the right bullet it can be a good deer/hog round, but the problem is unless you reload you probably won't be able to find good/inexpensive ammo for it.

Mebbe 22-250 (possibly AI) or 223AI would catch your attention. I like the idea of the wssm's velocity but I just couldn't bite on it. 22 cals are pretty decent deer guns, just use good bullets (barnes).
