Default Weatherby SA-08 Semi Auto Shotgun ???

Im picking up a 20ga SA-08 wetherby for my son. Its brand new and Im getting it for a STEAL. Being an 1100/87 guy I have never had one.

Any comments or suggestions would be greatly appreacaited.

I bought one last year.. It shoots great. I had a little trouble shooting the low brass 20s the first few boxes of shells. Other than that it has been a pretty good little gun, just might have to go with a heavier load at first.

I have a 12 ga SA-08, but have only put 250 rounds through it. It has been very reliable, and no problems. It has some amazing wood for low priced gun.

Where you using the LIGHT piston? Mine came with the HEAVY piston installed. Pulled it out and inserted the light piston.

Yeah.. .I was using the light loads piston..
