Don't have any personal experience, but it sure looks like (all reports I know of) a good value !

Among the "many other features", I think this barrel is the biggest selling point on a $500 rifle.

I just purchased an Icon on sale a few weeks ago. After the $150 rebate from T/C, I will only have $400 in the rifle.

The Venture was on sale for $410 and had a $50 rebate from T/C.....final cost was $360. IMO the Venture is a very good gun and I would have bought it but the Icon was too good of a deal to pass up.
