Well after looking for almost a year i finally found a Remington 700 SS 5R in .308. I topped it off with a Leupold VX-L 6.5-20 x 56 and took it out and shot it yesterday. Loaded up 45 gr of varget with 165 gr SGK and shot this group at 200 yards. Not bad for the first load...

For the first load, I'd say not bad at all !!!

I assume if you shot at 100 yards, we'd only see one hole....................

i had that scope on my .22-243 middlestead and shot deer and varmint out to 400 yards. im hoping to shot out to 500-600 with this .308

60 rounds, not even broken in yet.....wait to you see how close it gets after another 100 rounds through it

gonna try a few different handloads in it. hoping it will shoot all 5 shots touching at 200 yards
