Default S&W .44mag, can you carry in MT during bow season?

Can you carry during archery in MT statewide? how's that work as a non-res? just carry? or is that res only?

Whatcha think of that S&W .44mag 329PD, 25oz...? I'm sure it would kick...wouldn't be for plinking....snakes and grizzlies....

or is that just too light for a .44? seems like they're either superlight, or heavy, no compromise? something to carry for backup but doesn't way you down? but wouldn't kick like a mule if you did?

Anyone shoot this setup? I read one review saying it was particularly bad, perhaps worse than a .500?

Default

if they take your state's handgun permit I would not think it would change from res to nonres.
